Bringing together on a PC board the easy termination features of the 110-style block and the proven reliability of CommScope’s modular jack interface yields a controlled connection design that offers superior performance. These jacks are available in t wo versions to meet either shielded or unshielded application requirements on twisted-pair cable. The UTP version is universally wired and supports both T568A and T568B wiring schemes. In addition to easy termination with a 110 punch-down tool, a 110Co nnect two-pair stuffer cap, Part No. 177619, can be ordered for use with unshielded jacks. This provides a tool-less installation.
