ESP8266 12-E Wifi Module

OVERVIEW:

ESP8266 12E is a miniature Wi-Fi module present in the market and is used for establishing a wireless network connection for a microcontroller or processor. The core of ESP-12E is ESP8266EX, which is a high integration wireless SoC (System on Chip). It features the ability to embed Wi-Fi capabilities to systems or to function as a standalone application. It is a low-cost solution for developing IoT applications.

Features:

• This module requires a 3.3 volt supply for VCC and 3.3V logic.
• Connecting RX or TX on 5V Arduino will destroy this module.
• You must use a logic-level converter or a 3.3V Arduino.
• The 3.3V supply on the Arduino Uno has the inadequate current capability to power this module.
• You must provide a separate, higher 3.3V supply(about 300mA or better).
