Autonics PR12-4DN2 Cylindrical Type Proximity Sensor

OVERVIEW:

The PR series inductive proximity sensors feature solid sensing performance and excellent noise immunity with a specialized sensor IC developed by Autonics. Available in various sizes and sensing distances, the standard cylindrical inductive sensors can be used in diverse applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects. The PR series is available in DC 2-wire, DC 3-wire, AC 2-wire types.

AUTONICS PR Series Cylindrical Type Proximity Sensor enhance superior noise resistance characteristics with dedicated IC. The series can be widely used in any applications where proximity sensors are required because of diverse range of line-ups in terms of size and sensing distance.

Proximity sensors are the most common and affordable solution for no-touch object detection. The most commonly-used proximity sensor is the inductive type, which generates an electromagnetic field to sense metal objects passing close to its face. This is usually the easiest sensing technology to apply in applications where the metal object to be detected is within an inch or two of the sensor face.
